You must first have completed the sidequest "The Eighth Heroine" before you can talk to Bozai for this sidequest. With help from Dampé, Link takes the Secret Passage under the Graveyard. This will give you the Dragon Links resource which is needed to craft the Smolder Sword.

Take a picture of the sword then show it to Bozai and he will give you his pair of Snow Boots.

After completing The Eighth Heroine side quest, you can go talk to Bozai again.

When you are near this location, turn to face it in the NorthWest, and run in that direction until you can see the valley entrance.
